North Texas Baptist Association

The North Texas Baptist Area Association (NTBA) is an association of conservative Southern Baptist churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area.

NTBA was formed in March, 2000 by seven local churches that were aligned with the conservative Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC), and who wanted to form a local association that was aligned with SBTC (and, conversely, not affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas).

NTBA is currently headquartered in Lewisville, Texas on the campus of Lakeland Baptist Church, and is formally aligned with SBC and SBTC. As of March 2010 NBTA has approx. 90 affiliated churches.

NTBA currently supports eight mission churches in the DFW area and one in Wisconsin, ongoing mission projects in Mexico and Germany, a pastoral scholarship fund at Criswell College, and a local crisis pregnancy center in Lewisville.

NTBA is focused on missions activity; its "president", Ed Ethridge, holds the title of "Director of Missions".
