Tier 1 Asset Management

Tier 1 Asset Management is a Manchester-based company involved in the secure and ethical disposal of end --lifecycle computer equipment. It offers IT recycling, secure data erasure/disposal and asset management remarketing for corporate and government organisations.

Tier 1 collects redundant IT products & undertakes permanent data wiping & recovery to regenerate the equipment. The equipment is then offered for either resale in the second hand market or donated to charity partners such as Digital Links International.

Recent events

In June 2008, Tier 1 helped the crew of Earthrace, an eco boat circumnavigating the world, by supplying a refurbished laptop.

On September 11 2008, Tier 1 were awarded the ‘Best WEEE partnership’ title at the 2008 Valpak awards
