- Tied Cottage Chase
-
The Tied Cottage Chase is a Grade 2 National Hunt race in Ireland. It is run at Punchestown Racecourse in February, over a distance of 2 miles. The race is named after Tied Cottage, a National Hunt horse who was first past the post in the 1980 Cheltenham Gold Cup but was subsequently disqualified after a banned substance was discovered in his bloodstream.
The race was first run in 1999 and has been won by the likes of Moscow Flyer in recent years.
