Sara Pennypacker, born in Massachusetts, is an author of children's literature who was awarded the Golden Kite Award for Pierre In Love.[1]
She has written thirteen children's books,[2] including the those in the Clementine and Stuart' series. Clementine has been touted as the new Ramona Quimby (from the much loved Ramona series by Beverly Cleary.)[3] [4]
