PEPSU Road Transport Corporation

PEPSU Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) is the largest Bus Company in Punjab state of India. It is a state-run corporation with headquarters at Patiala. Originally, it was formed as the Road Transport Corporation of the erstwhile state of PEPSU. But when PEPSU was merged into Punjab, it became the Road Transport Corporation of whole of Punajab. Later in 1966, when Haryana and Himachal Pradesh were carved out of Punjab, they formed their own Road Transport Companies. At present, PRTC operates in almost whole North India.
