Background

In 2008, Nick Volpe was an author and contributor to popular technology site MakeUseOf^[1]. At the end of the summer of 2010, Nick called his college roommate Eric and said he registerred a domain name and wanted to start a technology blog. They eventually decided on a technology blog that covered some of their favorite topics as well as offering some of their favorite web services.
