Øystein Bonvik (born 1971) is a Norwegian communication consultant, writer and lecturer. He was one of the founders of the Norwegian consultancy PR-operatørene, which he also ran for several years. His previous positions include head of public relations at Coca-Cola Norway, communication consultant at JKL Oslo and Burson-Marsteller as well as media relations officer at NATO headquarters in Stavanger. He graduated as a print journalist from The University of Georgia, and worked as an intern with CNN in Washington D.C., plus on several Norwegian newspapers. Øystein Bonvik teaches PR and information management at the Norwegian School of Management (BI). He is the author of "The Corporate Voice"[1] (Gyldendal 2010) and co-wrote ”Great PR. The practical approach to Marketing PR”[2] (Kommunikasjonsforlaget 2007) and "PR Steps” (Kommunikasjonsforlaget 2007).
He was one of the co-founders of the Norwegian PR awards Gullkorn www.gullkornet.no and was chairman of the awards’ executive committee for the three first years, between 2007 and 2009.
