Owen Thomas is a playwright, originally from Mid Wales who is now living and working in Cardiff.
He is Head of Drama at Y Pant School, Llantrisant, where he also runs a successful Youth Theatre. He has also taught Youth Theatre sessions in various theatres around South Wales including 6 years at Sherman Cymru. His work has been performed in venues around the country. His most recent play 'Richard Parker', toured the UK in Autumn 2009 and 2010. Starring Gareth John Bale and Alistair Sill, the play is a dark comedy exploring the notion of coincidence. These two actors will be collaborating with Thomas in his new play 'Guinea Pigs'. 'Richard Parker' will be performed at this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
