The Origin of name

Oulad Rechache is a name of the largest throne in the community of the Amazigh, before becomes as a name of District.

Oulad Rechache is a district in the estern of Khenchela,and one of the oldest areas in this state in the Middle Algerian, it emerged as a District in 1990. It is adjacent to the state capital, and includes two municipalities. this district located in a border area between each of Khanshalah & Tebessa. And weighing on the national map in the fight against France during the Algerian Revolution of November glorious. Is one of the most important areas to maintain the Tamazight language ( Local accent)comparing to the state capital, where much circulation Chaouia are widely in all aspects of daily life.

Climate

Oued rechache District characterized by Steppe climate which It's covers the highlands this climate are transitional between the Mediterranean climate and the dry desert climate that is characterized by continental rain conditions ranging from 300–500 mm per year is not regular, monthly extreme thermal sensitivity, and most days of the winter ice.
