Østfoldbadet water park located in Askim was officially opened by the King of Norway, HM Kong Harald V, on December 16, 2000. Construction commenced on August 31, 1999 and was completed in December 2000.

Sizes and capacities
The water park covers an around of 2390 square meters, including 700 square meters of pool space, featuring four pools, a Jacuzzi and cold plunge pool.
- Toddlers’ pool for younger guests: size 6 m × 6 m
- Diving tower with 1 meter and 3 m springboards and 2.7 m and 5 m platforms
- Water slide (steep): length 30 m, height 8.4 m
- Water slide (long): 62 m, height 8.4 m, features a time screen
- Sports pool: water temperature 27 °C
- Combined swimming and diving pool: size 25 m × 12.5 m
- Six two-metre lanes for lane swimming and competition
- Depth: 3.8 m for diving and 1.5 m for turning
- Changing room capacity: 550 people simultaneously.
A separate area for people with functional disabilities, accessible via Henstad Allé.
Total building cost: NOK 73 million
