Osama Rashid (born 13 January 1992) is an Iraqi Dutch footballer who plays for FC Den Bosch. He formerly played for Feyenoord

The midfielder started playing football for Noord-Hollandse ZOB from Zuidoostbeemster. He moved onto Feyenoord and signed his first professional contract in 2008. Osama played for the Netherlands Under 17s side during the 2009 European Under 20 Championships reaching the final against hosts Germany.

In June 2011 after his contract with Feyenoord had run-out, he signed a one-year contract with FC Den Bosch and a few days later, he selected by Iraq coach Wolfgang Sidka to participate in a training camp in Arbil, along with nine players were of Iraqi origin, playing their trade in Europe including Anmar Al-Mubaraki of Dutch side Heracles Almelo, Yaser Kasim of Brighton & Hove Albion, Ahmed Yasin of Orebro SK, David Haider of Hallescher SC and Austrian based midfielder Murad Gerdi. Shwan Jalal and Rawez Lawan were also called-up but were unable to join-up.

Rashid who was born in Kirkuk, made his international debut for Iraq in the Fuchs International Tournament against Kuwait in Amman although his license wasn't approved by the AFC.[1]
