The Orlyk family (Ukrainian: Орлик) was a family of Czech baron ancestry, one branch of which in the 15th century, at the time of Hussite Wars, emigrated to Poland. Later they moved to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, where on october 21 1672 Pylyp Orlyk was born in Kosuta, Ashmyany county (Vileyka district of modern day Belarus). The family used the Korczak coat of arms.
