OMG was created by William Landron, also known as Don Omar, in 2007 to fulfill the dreams and expectations of talented musicians who desire a quality ‘finished product’ showcasing their talent, and also to satisfy the demand for such entertainment, within the middle market of the music consumer industry. Orfanato Music Group is an independent record label, which represents artists. Its music repertoire is represented nationally and internationally within the Latino marketplace. Its strategy is to serve those interested in Latino music, including Reggaeton, Latin hip hop, and Bachata, amongst others. The company’s ultimate goal is to become a trusted and renowned entertainment conglomerate, to produce and market high quality products throughout the United States and the world, and to eventually increase their product offerings to films and other technological accessories. Its short-term goal, however, is to release albums and continue growth and recognition of the Orfanato Music Group name.[1]
