- Orapin Chaiyakan

Orapin Chaiyakan was the first Thai woman to be elected to hold a post in the Parliament of Thailand.[1][2] She was elected to become a member of the House of Representatives of Thailand on June 5, 1949.[1] of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand.[2]
