- Oralin (insulin)
-
Oralin is a premeal oral insulin currently under investigation. The medicine is administered as an oral spray. It is currently evaluated in comparison with oral hypoglycemic agents, mostly in patients with type 2 DM. The clinical data appears promising, but further evaluation of its efficacy in type 1 DM is needed.[1]
