Optpcs

OptPCS is a 2G/3G/4G (LTE) dual band, multi-vendor wireless network optimization tool developed by Telecom Technology Services, Inc. located in Pleasanton, California. The tool was developed in 1997 by Dr. Lin Weng PhD in a effort to reduce the amount of time engineers spent troubleshooting and optimizing GSM (2G) networks. As UMTS (3G) networks began to emerge in the U.S., the features and functions of network topology creation, drive data analysis, parameter auditing, neighbor analysis were extended to the new standard with addition of pilot pollution analysis. These features and functions are now extended to LTE (4G).
