Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools

The Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS) represents a Christian education community in Eastern Canada made up of 79 schools and 14,000 students. The OACS is a member of Christian Schools Canada as well as the Federation of Independent Schools in Canada.

Purposes

The OACS states that it is committed to the pursuit of quality Christian education and consciously and prayerfully integrates Biblical principles into educational theories and practices.

Governance

The board is made up of 10 members elected by the membership at the annual meeting in November.

History

Founded in 1952 by representatives of seven different school societies in Ontario.
