Olympic Gold Quest is a program of the Foundation Of Sports And Games (Not-For Profit Section 25 company), started by Indian sporting icons Geet Sethi and Prakash Padukone to identify and support Indian athletes with a proven track record and who have the potential to win Olympic gold medals. In 2010 Leander Paes and Vishwanathan Anand also joined the Board of Directors.[1]
Viren Rasquinha is the COO of Olympic Gold Quest.[2] Olympic Gold Quest supports 21 athletes in the four disciplines of athletics, badminton, boxing and shooting. Following are the athletes [3]:
Athletics: Tintu Luka, Gayathri, Vikas Gowda, Om Prakash Singh Karhana
Badminton: Saina Nehwal, Guru Sai Dutt, P. Kashyap, Sai Praneeth, P V Sindhu
Boxing: Mary Kom, Sanjay Kolte, Usha Nagisetty, Nanao Singh, Suranjoy Singh, Shiva Thapa
Shooting: Gagan Narang, Tejaswini Sawant, Annu, Rakesh Manpat, Rekha, Sanjeev Rajput, Vijay Kumar, Omkar Singh

To scout for potential medal talent, to help identify areas of support, to work with all stakeholders to aid deserving talent.
Olympic Gold Quest strives to complement the efforts of the Indian Government and various Sports Federations in identifying and funding the best and most deserving medal prospects for the Olympic Games.Olympic Gold Quest has brought together eminent sportspersons, business leaders, sportswriters and talent scouts to identify emerging athletes, understand their training needs and requirements and raise funds to be used for supporting athletes with Olympic medal winning potential.[4]
