† Appearances (Goals).Ola John (born 19 May 1992) is a Liberian-born Dutch footballer who plays as a winger for Twente in the Eredivisie. He was a member of the Netherlands team during the qualifying rounds for the 2011 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship.
His brothers Collins and Paddy are also footballers.
Personal life
As a 2-year-old Ola fled with his mother and brothers from Liberia to the Netherlands. His father was killed during the bloody First Liberian Civil War. Until the Youth World Championship in Nigeria in which he participated in 2009, he no longer returned to the African continent. Like his brothers Collins and Paddy, Ola joined the youth academy of FC Twente.[1]
