Ōkawa District, Kagawa

Ōkawa (大川郡 Ōkawa-gun?) was a district in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Currently, the area represents now two new cities:

  • Sanuki, Kagawa - western part that was founded on April 1, 2002, consisting the merger of the towns of Ōkawa, Nagao, Sangawa Shido and Tsuda
  • Higashikagawa, Kagawa - eastern part that was founded on April 1, 2003, consisting the merger of the towns of Hiketa, Ōchi and Shirotori
