Odyssey Teams Inc. is a motivational team building and leadership skills company that is best known for pioneering the development of a training course focused on philanthropy.[1] Groups from various organizations and companies including eBay, Wells Fargo, Pfizer, Kinko’s and Hilton Hotels have participated in Odyssey training sessions that have given away more than 10,000 bikes to at-risk children and have constructed 1,000 prosthetic hands for donation to amputees in developing countries.[2] Odyssey Teams Inc. was founded in 1991 and began using philanthropy as a team-building exercise in 2001 with the creation of their Life Cycles program in which participants renew their commitments to their organizations and communities while building free bikes for deserving children.[3]Notes
