It was a wedding present to Princess Margaret in 1959 from Lord Glenconner.

The main house is neo-Georgian-style, designed by Sir Oliver Messel. It has an open plan, and 5 bedrooms, and a drawing room. It was completed in 1972. There are also two lodges, and convert|9|acre|m2 of land. The house was presented to Viscount Linley in 1996 as a wedding present. He subsequently placed it on the market. Like most of the villas on Mustique it is now available for weekly lets.
