Occasional-shrimp goby (Gobius bontii) is a species of fish in the Gobiidae family. Demersal tropical marine fish, up to 7.2 cm length. Widespread in the waters of Indo-West Pacific: from Mozambique (Bazaruto Archipelago) to India, also in central and western Pacific[1]. According to M. Kottelar[2] is junior synonym of Drombus triangularis. The taxonomic status of the species need addition studies.
