Obie Fernandez

Obie Fernandez is a Ruby and Ruby on Rails developer.^[1] He has authored The Rails Way^[2] and has become the editor of Addison-Wesley's Professional Ruby series.^[3] His vocal advocacy of Ruby over Java has garnered wide criticism.^[4] He founded and heads Hashrocket, a company offering Ruby development services.^[5] He also organizes a business conference BizConf, which is hosted by Hashrocket.^[6]
