History
Name change
The school was previously known as Hope High before it was reopened as an Oasis Academy on 1 September 2008, with a strong fundamentalist Christian ethos,[1] which is part of the job specification for the school's staff (staff are not required to be Christian however).[2]
New building
Oasis Academy is having a new school built at Salford Quays and the school will move into the state of the art build with a sixth form.[3]
