The mountain range is located in Maramureş County

The Oaş Mountains (Romanian: Munţii Oaşului) are a small volcanic mountain range in the Inner Eastern Carpathian Mountains of the Maramureş in Romania.

Its highest mountain is Bran Peak (823 metres (2,700 ft)).
