Oakridge International School is an international baccalaureate affiliated school located in Hyderabad, India. In grades 9 and 10, the students take the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) course and the school also offers checkpoints for grades 7 and 8 which are conducted by the University of Cambridge International Examinations - CIE
[1] The students receive a diploma at the end of pre-primary.[2] It has two branches in Gachibowli and Bachupally.
History
The school was established by educationist, R Shomie Das, on the concept of smart schools in 2003. The school started on 11 June 2001 in rented premises in Jubilee Hills.
On 24 June 2002 the campus moved to Khajaguda, Hyderabad. The new campus covers 10.5 acres (42,000 m2) and was inaugurated by the former chief minister Nara ChandraBabu Naidu. The school has over 2500 students.
