Oak Hill Middle School, Located in Milledgeville, Georgia, is Baldwin County's only public middle school. It is located at 156 Blandy Road. All of Baldwin County Schools are located in close proximity to one another. OHMS is just close to a mile away from Baldwin High School. The school is divided into four different sub- schools. Each named for a different part of Georgia. They are: Mystic Mountains, Coastal Plains, Golden Isles, and Historic Piedmont. In 2000, when the school first officially opened, each grade level was placed into a different sub- school. 6th Grade was Mystic Mountains, 7th Grade was Coastal Plains, and 8th Grade was Golden Isles. The Historic Piedmont was used for advanced students and other manners. Each sub- school also had a principal, which is still in existence today. The Head Principal is Linda Ramsey, She was the former Mystic Mountains Assistant Principal to Mark Scott, until he relocated to Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia.
