Since March 2008 the Italian company Enel ownes 59.8% of the company.
History and operations
In 2006, the following 4 power plants were merged into one company:
- Reftinskaya GRES – 3,800 MW,
- Sredneuralskaya GRES – 1,182 MW
- Nevinnomysskaya GRES – 1,290 MW
- Konakovskaya GRES – 2,400 MW
The installed capacity of all four thermal power plants is about 8,672 MW.
The power output of the Enel OGK-5 power plants in 2007 was around 38.4 TWh.
