The Novo Basquete Brasil is a competition in Brazil for basketball organized by the Liga Nacional de Basquete. It is the third edition of the championship organized by the LNB, with the seal of the Brazilian Basketball Confederation. This tournament is organized entirely by the participating clubs. NBB serves as the qualifying competition for international tournaments such as the FIBA Liga das Américas and the Liga Sul-Americana de Basquete.
The form of dispute follows a similar model adopted by the NBA and the countries of Europe.
