It is published by the Comité national de la gravure française and its office is at the prints department of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, which supports the journal[1]..
History
The journal is founded in 1963 by Jean Adhémar, then curator of the prints department of the National Library. At that time, it is not a journal by just a few sheets on prints news.
Michel Melot, also a curator of the prints department, becomes editor in 1971 and make the journal completely change. It is now a scholarly journal, publishing studies on either old prints or contemporary creations. But part of the journal is still about news (exhibitions, new publications,...)
It is taken into consideration by the Bibliography of the history of art (Getty Research Institute)[2] and the Bibliographie de l'histoire de France (CNRS)[3].
