The Notts County Supporters Trust were the majority shareholders in Notts County between 2006 and 2009.
History
In 2003, the oldest league club in the world- Notts County went into administration, and looked to be going out of business, the money to keep the Club in business was only found a week before the Football League's deadline, during this dark time, the supporters decided to form a Supporters Trust.
Control
Despite being formed in 2003, in 2006 the Supporters Trust eventually took control of Notts County Football Club, buying the club of Haydn Green.
Buy out
In 2009, Members of the Trust voted to accept a takeover bid for Munto Finance, with Mr Peter Trembling taking over as Chairman, the group eventually saw Sven Gorran Errikson and Sol Campbell come in as Director of Football and player respectively.
