Nottingham English School is a specialist provider of English Language tuition based within Nottingham City centre. The School is an academic department forming part of New College Nottingham and is based at the historic Adams Building in the Lace Market area of the City.

The Nottingham English School offers flexible English language training including:

  • General English
  • Academic English
  • Preparation for the IELTS test
  • A Summer School programme
  • CELTA teacher training programmes
  • Bespoke study opportunities for groups

The Nottingham English School offers British Council accredited English Language tuition and is a member of English UK. New College Nottingham is classed as a highly trusted sponsor by the UK Border Agency under Tier 4 of the Points Based System.[citation needed] Students who study within the Nottingham English School benefit from being part of a much larger college. These benefits include access to a range of learning centres across the City, the opportunity to join an active Students’ Union, and also the opportunity to take part in an exciting social programme.
