Norwegian Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) is non-governmental association, established in November 2008 in Oslo, Norway.
The main goal of the NUCC is to promote commercial cooperation between Norway and Ukraine. The founders have strong belief that there is a huge potential for mutual cooperation, especially with regard to increase of Norwegian investments in Ukraine and vice versa.[citation needed]
The Chamber shall work for the interests of its Members. It shall refrain from any political and ideological activity and shall not have other commercial interests than covering its own operating expenses. The Chamber shall encourage the commercial relations between Norway and Ukraine in order to promote its Members’ business interests in the two countries. The NUCC is open for both Norwegian and Ukrainian members.

Members and Partners
In May 2010 the Chamber has 34 Members, few of which are Ukrainian companies.
NUCC works closely with partners in Ukraine assisting us with knowledge, experience and contacts. This applies primarily to European Business Association (EBA), American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI). We also have a close cooperation with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ukraine (Kiev) and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Norway (Oslo).
Board Members and Administration
The Board consists of leaders of organizations with a significant experience of cooperation and business development in Ukraine. The Board Members represent all current major areas of ICT including offshoring, exports (fish), energy efficiency and R&D, experts in the Norwegian and Ukrainian law.
Activities
- Network meetings for members 4–6 times per year, normally in Oslo. Presentations are delivered on legal issues, political and economical development in the countries, practical experience on Norwegian-Ukrainian cooperation and projects.
- Chamber’s web page and newsletters: spreading information and analysis (on economical, political and legal issues) with relevance to the companies who is planning to enter Ukrainian market.
- Organize visits to Ukraine to meet relevant Governmental bodies, NGO’s and business representatives.
- E-mail distribution of Weekly newsletter to our[who?] Members
- Development of the “Guide to doing business in Ukraine”: is developed in cooperation with High North Center for Business and Governance Bodø Graduate School of Business. It contains information about possibilities in Ukraine, hands on experience form Norwegian companies who have already established their business there. The Guide is available only for Members.
- NUCC takes part in organizing in Ukraine co-events with Partners and Members
- Assist our Members in market research in Ukraine and Norway
