The Northstone IT Ltd. is a German-American IT Consultancy specialized in the areas of Cybersecurity and Defense.

The company was founded in 2009 in Calw, Germany, as an US-European joint venture and maintains since 2011 a branch office in New York. Northstone does besides general IT consulting also highly specialised Software and Electronic Development as well as the planning and implementation of strategic IT infrastructure.

In the past Northstone worked with western governments, military institutions and private companies. They have been recognized for their dual-usage applications, both in the civilian as well as military realm.

Besides strong secrecy, it leaked in 2010 that Northstone had developed an highly advanced Hunter/Killer disruption technology, officially confirmed in early 2011 as Project IITHK-D. The Integrated IT System Hunter/Killer Defense, was later announced to form a cornerstone in US Network-centric warfare as well as the coming Global Information Grid.

Operating numbers of the company are not public. Northstone is estimated to sustain an elite network of around 120 high-level individuals from IT consulting, engineering, development and defense.
