Northern Research Institute

Northern Research Institute (Norut) is a national research institute in Northern Norway, with headquarters in Tromsø.

Norut is the parent of four subsidiary research institutions, with activities within technology, social science and innovation. Norut carries out research commissions for industry, business and the public sector. Norut has a special focus on the High North, and has 115 employees (2009).
