North Tarrant Express

North Tarrant Express (NTE) will be a tollway that will go through Fort Worth, Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Hurst, Bedford and Euless. Plans are to expand I-820 and SH 121/183.

With the Population of Tarrant County increased the past few decades and expected to increase even more in the next 10 years, TxDot decided to make traffic flow more smoothly by turning I-820 and SH 121/183 into a major tollway.

Construction has begun and is scheduled to be completed sometime in 2015
