Nordtoppen Nunatak (71°29′S 25°14′E / 71.483°S 25.233°E) is a nunatak, 1,100 m, standing 16 nautical miles (30 km) north of the Austkampane Hills of the Sor Rondane Mountains. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and in 1957 from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946-47. Named Nordtoppen (the north peak) by the Norwegians because of its position in the group.
