Nordstrand (or Nordstranda) is the administrative center of the municipality of Giske in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the east side of Valderøy island. The 2.82-square-kilometre (700-acre) village has a population (2009) of 3,214.^[1][3]
