Personal life
Nora Kennedy was born in Westport, Connecticut, daughter of Sara Kennedy, an actress, and Michael Kennedy.
She attends the Eugene Lang College at The New School.
Career
Following a string of film and television appearances on Boston Public, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, the Mark Polish penned Stay Cool and a four episode arc on Showtime's The United States of Tara, Kennedy made her feature film principal debut starring as Nell Sweetzer in the 2010 horror film The Last Exorcism.
Her critically acclaimed performance garnered her a 2010 Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.[1][2] Additionally, The New York Post praised Kennedy's performance in delivering "Oscar-worthy work" in her portrayal of a possessed girl.[3]
