Noah Lott (real name: Adam Johnson) is an American-based professional wrestler. Noah was trained by Ultimate Fighting Championship Heavyweight Champion and the only Ultimate Ultimate Fighting Champion, a former National Wrestling Association Champion, and former World Wrestling Entertainment (now called WWE) superstar Dan "The Beast" Severn. Besides training with Mr. Severn, he has trained and taken seminars with former WWE superstars Taka Michinoku at the Kalentai Dojo in Chiba City, Japan, He has also attended seminars by Al Snow, Gypsy Joe, Cuban Assassin, Lash Leroux, C.W. Anderson, Steve Corino, Flex Tolley, Mike Knox, and other veterans that provided Noah guidance in his career.
As Adam Johnson, he was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on 22 September 1986. Later, he and his family moved to Wayland, Michigan in 1992. Even though he focused on Basketball as a child, he became interested in professional wrestling at the age of 8 and started training at the age of 16.
Noah Lott has been wrestling on the independent circuit and around the world for nine years. He has wrestled for widely known promotions such as SMASH Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and WWE.
Each year, Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine publishes a list of top 500 wrestlers and Noah Lott was listed as number 444 for 2011.[1]
Price of Glory Wrestling (2003–Current)
Noah started his training in early 2003 by going to the Michigan Sports Camp. While being trained by Dan "The Beast" Severn at The Michigan Sports Camp (Mr. Severn's facility name), Mr. Severn started his own independent wrestling circuit promotion called Midwest Wrestling Alliance (renamed Price of Glory Wrestling) located in Coldwater, Michigan. He traveled from Wayland to Coldwater and trained early Monday and Wednesday from 7p.m. to 9p.m. He also received tips from Mr. Severn on submission fighting, UFC-style fighting, and combat sambo.
After finishing training, Noah began to wrestle for the promotion; fine-tuning his skills along the likes of Midwest greats like Nate Mattson, Jimmy Jacobs, Conrad Kennedy III, C.J. Otis, Jack Thriller, Jayson Quick, Alcatraz, Monty Brown, Josh Raymond, Christian Able, Louis Lyndon plus many more wrestlers throughout the Midwest that wrestled at Price of Glory. Noah became highly successful within the promotion, obtaining almost every championship several times. On October 2, 2011, Noah Lott defeated Roderick Street to become the Price of Glory Heavyweight Champion for the first time.
Noah Lott still goes to the Michigan Sports Camp as a trainer to help up-and-coming wrestlers.
Wrestling Superstars Live! (2005–Current)
Most notably, Noah Lott has had a long affiliation with Dale Gagne and the American Wrestling Association, which is now renamed Wrestling Superstars LIVE! One of his highlights came on July 30, 2005 when he participated in the AWA World Light-Heavyweight Championship tournament. Contenders included wrestlers from around the AWA-WSL territories and around the world. Participants included: Nate Mattson, Ricky Landell, Jesse Ortega, "Mr. 405" Jerelle Clark, Ricky Reyes, "The Addiction" Kirby Mack, and former WWE Superstar Shannon Moore. Kirby Mack won the event but Noah still holds heavy contendership to the belt. On October 6, 2007 in Shawano, Wisconsin, Noah Lott defeated Chasyn Raznce to become the number one contender to Mack's Light-Heavyweight Championship of the world. Noah has also wrestled for many of the various promotions and territories that are linked to Wrestling Superstars LIVE! while under contract.
Independent Circuit (2005–Current)
Although Noah still wrestles for Dan Severn's Price of Glory Wrestling in Coldwater, Michigan; he has also traveled the country seeking more success and challenges. He has worked for many various independent promotions in almost every state with the United States. While traveling the country, Noah has gained much knowledge from his friends and co-workers alike, including: The Honky Tonk Man, The Cuban Assassin, Rene Dupree, Jeff Dupree, Gypsy Joe, Steve Corino, C.W. Anderson, Shinjiro Otani, Taka Michinoku, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, John Cena, Al Snow, Sabu, Flex Tolley, D'Lo Brown, Petey Williams, Sharkboy, Bobby Rude, Jesse Ortega, Steve Boz, Eric Freedom, Doug Simmons, Jimmy Jacobs, Truth Martini along with many others in the business. Noah feels that watching and listening is the best way to perfect his in-ring abilities. Noah always feels that even if he doesn't know a lot, that history will be kind to him, for he intends to write it.
World Wrestling Council (2006)
In the Mid-Summer of 2006, Noah took a tour of Puerto Rico and the popular wrestling promotion: The World Wrestling Council, co-founded and promoted by professional wrestling's legendary Carlos Colon. Noah visited shows around the country, including shows in Esperanza, Ponze, and Bayamon, which is a hot wrestling city. Noah learned great new knowledge and skills from the wrestlers from WWC. He also got to see what life was like down in Puerto Rico and how many wrestlers struggle. It was one of Noah's best experiences.
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) (2007–Current)
On October 8, 2007, Noah Lott made an appearance with the biggest wrestling promotion in the world: World Wrestling Entertainment (now known as WWE). He wrestled Jacob Duncan in a dark match (a match before the live television taping at WWE's Program, Sunday Night Heat). He also wrestled former Spirit Squad member Nicky, who is Nick Nemeth who currently goes by the work name Dolph Ziggler. Noah has had matches in the WWE against Matt Hardy, Shannon Moore, and Charlie Haas. Noah Hopes to continue to work with and for the WWE in pursuit of that highly coveted contract.
Outside wrestling
Noah Lott has worked as an actor, stuntman, and extra in a couple of independent films shot in Michigan. Most notable is Swamp Zombies where he played a zombie.
