She is an actress well known for her role in the film First Love released in 2010[1] and her appearance in music videos. Before embarking on her acting career, she was involved in beauty contests and modelling.

Beauty Pageants
In 2005, at the age of 21; she won the title of Miss Personality sub-title as well as the main title of Miss International Nepal 2005 and subsequently represented Nepal in the Miss International 2005 pageant in Japan.[2] Later in 2008, she joined the Miss Nepal 2008 beauty contest in which the pageant was cancelled because of the feminists Maoists group.[3]
Career
For the last two and a half years, Nisha has been working as a Media Industry and she went to Pakistan to record two program serials in the Urdu language. She debuted as VJ from a television show called Nine to Nine then, she did Indi mini Bag, Count Down Kantipur, Play it On and Some More. She had played in some music videos of various Nepalese singers like Sudip Giri,Sugam Pokharel, Narayan Gopal, Ciney Gurung & Satya Raj. Adhikari started her acting debut from a comdey programme called “Gharbeti Ba” on Kantipur Television. In 2009, her Debut movie was Mission Paisa starting Nikhil Upreti. Mission Paisa was successful biggest hit movies of the year. In 2010, she played in the movie “Nainraresham” and her third movie “First Love”. She has appointment recently ambassador for the Autism Care Centre[4] and she is also member of Rotary Club of Nagarjun, where she worked as Director of youth service for one year.
Personal life
She was born in a middle-class Nepali family. She lives with her mum, dad, older brother and Dabbu who is her pet dog in Kathmandu.[5] In 2006, she completed her A levels and started as VJ & MC professional. In 2009, she finished her undergraduate at Wigan and Leigh College.[6]
