Nippu Ravva (Telugu: నిప్పు రవ్వ) is a 1993 Telugu Film written and directed by Kondarami Reddy. It stars Balakrishna in the lead role. The background music was scored by Academy Award Winner A. R. Rahman while the soundtrack were composed by Koti.

Soundtrack

The soundtrack for the film was composed by Bappi Lahiri and Koti of the duo Raj-Koti. In some CDs, music maestro A. R. Rahman's name is wrongly credited as music director. But, he did only the background score for the film. The soundtrack featured six songs all of them sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and K. S. Chithra.

Raj Koti duo was initially signed in to compose the background score. They called in old assistant A. R. Rahman (who had then risen up to fame in Tamil with Roja), for assistance. When Rahman helped them in the major part of programming, they suggested Rahman himself to do the whole score. Hence, Rahman composed the whole score, and accepted no fee for this.
