Nina Breeder (Genova, Italy, Nov 13th 1979) is an Italian contemporary artist from New York. She grew up in Italy and lived there from 1979 to 1989 where she attended primary school, then she moved to Polperro, UK for one year with her adoptive brother Massimilian Breeder often present in her work and in future collaborations. She studied at Colombo lyceum for Classic Literature and consequently at the Academy of Art in Florence, Italy.

Background
N. Breeder begun working on experimental films and performances in Florence (1997) and later she moved to Brooklyn, starting more frequent collaborations with the artist Massimilian Breeder working on the movie Devil come to Hell and stay where You belong* [1] and a series of land installations and performances. Her work is based on the confrontation with lost traditions and pagan rituals, often involving the use of hair, wool and feces.* [2]
