Nikolai Madoyev was born 1973 in Yerevan, Armenia.
Nikolai Madoyev is the laureate and winner of several international music competitions.
He studied under such remarkable musicians as Hracha Bogdanyan, Zakhar Bron, Isaac Stern and Solovieff.
He performed with a number of world's best symphony orchestras and conductors such as R. Hickox, F. Brueggen, C. Abbado, A. Katz, D. Kitaenko, V. Gergiev, L. Hager, M. Bahmert,R. Duffalo and N. Alekseyev.
His repertoire contains a broad selection of world-renowned violin music.
He perform L.v.Beethoven’s Ten Sonatas for Violin and Piano[1] (played in 3 evenings one after another), N.Paganini’s 24 Caprices[2] (played in one evening without interruption), J.S. Bach’s “Sonatas and Partitas”[3] for Violin Solo(played in one evening) and Six Sonatas for Violin and Cembalo (played in one evening), Eugène YSAŸE Six Sonatas (played in one evening) to name a few.
He played all compositions by memory (live).
Nikolai Madoyev performed at the Tivoli Hall, Concertgebouw, Royal Festival Hall, Milan Verdi Theatre and the Big Concert Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
