Niklas Stråhlén (born 4 September 1987) was born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has competed in windsurfing on a professional level since 2006 and in 2009 he was ranked 5th in Europe at the European Freestyle Pro Tour.[1]
Niklas is really passionate about windsurfing and everything around it. He fell in love with it the first time he tried it and ever since then his promising career as an windsurfer has escalated rapidly. Niklas has developed great skills in surfing, snowboarding and kitesurfing as well as windsurfing, but his true love will always remain with the windsurfing equipment and he always strives to improve his performance on the water.
During the winter Niklas often travel to places like South Africa and Brazil to practice his routines and develop new tricks.
