Niels Christian Gauslaa Danbolt (1900 – 1984) was a Norwegian professor of medicine.
He was born in Bergen. He took the dr.med. degree in 1932, and served as a chief physician at Rikshospitalet and professor at the University of Oslo from 1936 to 1970.[1] The Danbolt-Closs syndrome is named after him and Karl Philipp Closs.
