Nicolò Cesa-Bianchi (Italian pronunciation: [nikɔˈlɔ]; born 18.6.1963. Milan, Italy) is a computer scientist and Professor of Computer Science at the "Dipartimento di Scienze dell'Informazione" of the University of Milan.[1]
He is a researcher in the field of Machine Learning, and the co-author of the book "Prediction, learning, and games" with Gabor Lugosi.[2]
Research
His research contributions focus on the following areas: Prediction with Expert Advice and Game-Theoretic Learning, Pattern Classification and Regression, Statistical Learning Theory, Boolean Learning and Learning with Queries, Bandit Problems.
