Nicolae Filip, born March 3, 1926 in the village of Sofia Balti County family farmers, died 15 May 2009 Bălţi -- is an expert in the field of physics, worked on "The spread of ultrashort radio waves", was elected an honorary member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. [1]

He worked as rector at Bălţi State University "Alecu Russo"
