Nick Winton received a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in 1985. While there, he completed an architectural studies program at the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies. Nick received a Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1990, and subsequently co-founded Anmahian Winton Architects with Alex Anmahian in 1992.

Nick has lectured at Northeastern University, the Boston Society of Architects, and the University of Minnesota College of Architecture. He regularly participates in design juries for institutions such as Yale University, Washington University School of Architecture, and the Boston Society of Architects. He is the Chairman of the Board of Overseers of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, and is a former Architect in Residence at the Addison Gallery of American Art in Andover, MA.

Nick is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, and the U.S. Green Building Council. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts and Minnesota.
